Resiliency – Dedication – Creativity – Work Ethic

These words embody the heart and spirit of Ice Cream Distributors and Vending Operators in good times and especially in challenging times. They are the reason that we have survived and prospered in difficult and challenging times as an industry and as an association.

We are being tested in 2010 like never before.  The impact of the economy was compounded by the worst heat spell in memory.

I have a personally spoken to many operators and there resolve to get through this difficult time is remarkable.  It is times like these that make Association membership most valuable. 

The 41st Annual Convention will spotlight a focus on understanding the impact of the economy on our industry and how that understanding can provide a positive path going forward.

Also a highlight of this year’s convention will be the informative session on methods to utilize the social and electronic media to advance your business and give you a competitive advantage.

Industry leader Connie Tipton, President of the International Dairy Foods Association, will be our key note speaker and offer unique and valuable insight into the industry as well as  a format for interaction with the members.
